Australian UCL component
The six-digit ASGS code for one state or territory component of an Australian Urban Centre crossing that boundary.
The Australian Bureau of Statistics splits an urban center at a state line, so a conurbation lying in two states is published as two coded parts rather than one. Gold Coast-Tweed Heads is the case this field exists for: the Queensland part and the New South Wales part carry separate codes.
The code has the same six-digit shape as the Australian urban center it belongs to, and the same population-band caveat applies.
A record can hold more than one, which is the point of the field: it lists the coded parts that together make up the whole center.
