The Key Flag

A Finnish origin mark for products made or services provided in Finland that meet domestic-content requirements.

The Key Flag is granted by the Association for Finnish Work to products and services with a sufficient share of Finnish origin, and it is a mark of provenance rather than of quality.

In construction, the mark applies to the particular qualifying product or service. It is a statement of origin, distinct from an architectural award or an environmental certificate for a building.

Finnish origin is assessed for the product or service receiving the mark. It does not mean that every component or raw material came from Finland, and a marked service does not automatically confer the mark on all products it uses.
