A second-hand baby clothing store is a retail space specializing in the sale of clothing for infants which has been used already, or which is unwanted or returned. Such stores take advantage of the fact that infants outgrow their clothing very rapidly (which can keep the clothing in good condition), and also the fact that many parents do not want to invest heavily in clothing which will be worn for such a short time.

Clothing at these shops is usually sold at a discount, and often for charitable or non-profit purposes. The store may purchase clothing items from the past owners for money, or it may accept donations.

The two identifying features are the infant-clothing specialization and the used, unwanted, or returned stock. Clothing does not have to show wear, and charitable operation is optional; a general infant clothing store does not have the same second-hand stock specialization.
