locksmith

A business site where skilled tradespeople provide goods and/or services concerning locks and keys.

A locksmith location is a shop, customer service center, or base of operations for skilled locksmiths. Customers can either visit the site or make calls on the professionals based there to purchase services and/or equipment having to do with locks, including replacement, troubleshooting, key duplication, and installation of locks and other security devices.

The premises can receive customers or act as the operating base for locksmiths who travel to them. The work need not be performed entirely inside the shop.

Both lock-related services and equipment are included. Key duplication can form part of the business without requiring every customer to purchase a new lock.
