Fantastic or unconventional architecture which relies on crafted ornamentation and non-standardized forms.
As an architectural style, folk art is a fanciful method of design practiced either by untrained architects or by architects who do not follow conventional training. It relies heavily on creativity and handcraftsmanship, and eschews machine-made or standardized forms. Folk art frequently incorporates decorative ceramics, colored glass, found materials, unusual masonry, and organic lines and patterns.
