landscape architect
A company which designs the arrangement of plants and decorative elements in or around a structure.
Persons or firms responsible for the selection, arrangement, and/or design of plants and outdoor elements, either surrounding a building, inside it, or on a terrace or roof.
The work can occur around the building, in an interior landscape, or on a roof or terrace. The location need not be an outdoor garden at ground level.
Selection and arrangement of plants and landscape elements establish the design role. Routine grooming of an existing landscape is a separate maintenance service.
