total available space
The floor space available to prospective users, including vacant space and occupied space to be vacated.
The total available space in a property is a measurement of the floor space remaining for prospective users. It is generally used in property listings and similar records, and includes both vacant space and spaces which can or will be vacated by their current holders.
The figure given as total available space may be equal to or less than the usable floor area.
Occupied space can belong in this total when its present holder can or will leave it for a new user. Space that remains unavailable to prospective users does not qualify merely because it is part of the property.
