non-denominational church

A house of worship in a particular Christian faith which is not tied to a broadly established denomination.

A non-denominational church is a Christian worship space where a manner of liturgy or service is performed that is not connected with a widely established denomination. Unlike an interdenominational church (which is shared by many denominations), a non-denominational church is generally home to some particular brand of faith or to some consistent religious point of view. This includes bible-based churches as well as many others.

The congregation follows a particular Christian religious outlook without connection to a widely established denomination. Independence from such a denomination does not imply the absence of beliefs or a consistent form of worship.

An interdenominational church is defined by availability to, or sharing among, denominations. A non-denominational congregation may have a specific teaching and worship practice even when visitors from other traditions attend.
