ice skating
Space for the practice or performance of figure skating or racing on ice skates.
Ice skating is any recreational, athletic, or performance activity which involves skating on an ice rink or field, excluding games such as ice hockey. This includes facilities for casual skating as well as figure skating and speed skating.
Casual recreational skating is included alongside figure skating and speed skating. A competitive program is not required.
Games such as ice hockey are excluded from this skating usage. Their use of an ice rink does not erase the distinction between skating activities and games.
