blues club

A nightclub, lounge, bar, or similar venue specializing in live performances of blues music.

A blues club is a nightclub, lounge, bar, or similar venue which specializes in featuring live performances of blues music, usually with one lead singer and often guitar, piano, and other instruments. Customers generally come to drink, hear music, socialize, and possibly to eat or dance.

The venue specializes in live blues. A lead singer with instrumental accompaniment is usual, but no particular lineup is mandatory.

Customers may also eat, drink, or dance. Those activities can accompany the musical attraction without defining a different genre of music club.
