construction approved

The decisive governing authority approves construction of a structure.

Construction of a structure is approved by the government when the decisive governing authority (usually the municipality) grants its effective approval for construction to begin. In cases where more than one level of approval must be sought, the final approval which constitutes a reasonable barrier to the possibility of construction is assigned this event.

This event marks the beginning of the approved status for a structure.
