bell foundry
A manufacturer of metal bells installed in a structure for musical purposes or to mark times and events.
Manufacturers of any major bells used as permanent fixtures in a church, carillon, clock tower, or other building. This does not include manufacturers of electronic chimes.
The supplied bell is a major permanent fixture of the building. The use can be musical or connected with times and events, and the building need not be a church.
An electronic chime is expressly excluded even when it performs a similar signaling or musical function. The distinction concerns manufacture of the bell itself, rather than every device that produces a bell-like sound.
