A shop specializing in candy or similar sweets, possibly packaged bakery goods, with chocolate shops classified separately.
A sweet shop is a retail establishment specializing in the sale of candy or similar sweet goods. It does not encompass bakeries or donut shops, although it may specialize in packaged bakery products such as cookies. It may offer a wide assortment of sweets, or be limited to one kind (for example a jelly bean shop); however chocolate shops are classified separately.
The assortment can be broad or limited to one kind of sweet. Packaged cookies can be sold without making the store a bakery.
Bakeries and donut shops are excluded as uses. A chocolate shop retains its separate classification despite the related merchandise.
