ube

A slightly dull medium-purple facade color with a gray component, represented by hex triplet 8878C3.

Ube is a slightly dull, medium shade of purple with a discernible amount of gray mixed in. Its name comes from the ubé yam, a Filipino vegetable. It is not very common in facades except as a paint color.

Hex triplet: 8878C3

The gray contribution distinguishes ube from more saturated purple shades. The color designation does not depend on a particular paint or material. The hex triplet is a comparison sample for a range of similar facade colors, rather than an exact-match requirement.
