home accessories store
Retail space specializing in household items such as appliances, kitchenware, bath products, and furniture.
A home accessories store is a retail establishment which specializes in a variety of items that go in the home. Wares may include appliances, fixtures, furniture, carpets, curtains, towels, pots & pans, silverware, plates, and many other such items.
Unlike a furniture store, the main focus is not on furniture. Some home accessories stores are equal to department stores or hypermarkets in size and scale, but they generally sell very few (if any) clothes, cosmetics, groceries, or other items that do not fit the heading of home products.
Large size does not make a home-focused store a general department store. The merchandise remains centered on household products, with furniture as only part of the range.
