Structurae ID
The identification number used for a structure in the Structurae database of international civil and structural engineering works.
Structurae numbers every work in its database of civil and structural engineering, and this field holds that number. Nicolas Janberg started the site in 1998 while he was studying civil engineering at Princeton.
Its scope is wider than tall buildings. Bridges, dams and roof structures are cataloged alongside high-rises, together with the engineers and builders behind them.
The publisher Ernst und Sohn owned the site from 2012 until Janberg bought it back in 2015. Records kept their numbers through both changes, so an identifier from either period still resolves.
