A youth club is a place designated for social gathering of young people, providing a venue for games, sports, recreation, conversation, parties, and other forms of socializing. Youth clubs may be established for any of various purposes: as an amenity for the young people of a particular area; to keep youths away from gangs and other forms of trouble; or as a meeting place for some common purpose such as religious guidance. The range of ages permitted or expected to use these clubs varies significantly by location.
