dry cleaners

An on-site service that accepts and returns tenants' or guests' fabrics for professional dry cleaning.

A dry cleaning service is listed as a building amenity when there is an on-site shop, collection point, or service which accepts and returns clothing and other fabrics for professional cleaning without water.

Although a dry cleaning shop in a building may be open to the public, it is generally listed as an amenity rather than a usage when it is marketed as such, i.e. when it is presented to tenants as a selling point of the property. It need not be an actual shop, but can (as in many hotels) simply be a service offered to tenants or guests.

Dry cleaners often (but not necessarily) provide related services, such as tailoring and clothing storage.
