Events associated with the original construction of a built object or any additions to it.
Construction events are milestones or other events associated with the original construction work on any built object, including construction of additions to it. While most of these events normally take place during the construction phase, they also include physical preparations to a site before construction.
The events concern creating the object or its additions. The group includes preparatory work before the first structural elements are installed.
A construction event and the under-construction status therefore have different boundaries. Site preparation can be a construction-related event while the project is still in its planned phase.
