primate exhibit
A zoo space for housing and public viewing of monkeys, apes, lemurs, or other primates.
A primate exhibit is a zoo enclosure, habitat, or housing facility for any kinds of primates other than humans, including monkeys, apes, baboons, lemurs, gibbons, siamangs, lorises, tarsiers, or other species in the primate order.
Humans are expressly excluded from the animals housed under this exhibit type. Monkeys and apes are included alongside the other non-human primates listed.
The display can focus on a single primate group. It need not present every group or use one particular kind of enclosure.
