Puupalkinto honorary mention

A jury's honorary mention for a timber project in Finland's Puupalkinto competition, distinct from the main prize.

The mention recognizes a timber building, interior, or structure that the jury singled out without giving it the main award. Several can be given in one year.

It records recognition separately from the main award and the two should not be conflated.

The jury grants an honorary mention for particular merits of the submitted timber work. Reaching the shortlist or receiving votes in a public poll does not itself confer this distinction.
