bicycle parking
An area specially designated for leaving bicycles while they are not in use, usually with racks or other theft protection.
Bicycle parking areas are places specially designated for people to leave their bicycles when they are not in use. These normally include some facilities for theft protection, most often in the form of racks where the bicycles can be locked up.
Racks for locking bicycles are common but are not mandatory. The area must nevertheless be designated for leaving bicycles.
A bicycle traffic route supports movement. Parking instead provides a place for bicycles while their users are not riding them.
