Health facilities are places where the physical well-being of people or animals is taken care of, either as a matter of course or in response to a need. The category does not include athletic facilities.
Both routine attention to physical well-being and care in response to a particular need are included. The patient or recipient can be a person or an animal.
A clinic provides outpatient care, while extended care includes beds for patient stays. Athletic facilities remain expressly excluded from the health category even when exercise supports physical fitness.
