What can I do with the SKYDB API?
Look up a building, search by city or height, read companies and regions, and keep your own system current with SKYDB.
Most integrations start with lookups. You request a building by its SKYDB ID and receive its name, height, floors, status and location. Search endpoints return lists filtered by city, height, status or year of completion.
The API also covers what surrounds a building. Company endpoints return firms with their projects, and region endpoints return cities and districts with their buildings. File endpoints return photographs with their author line.
Accounts with editing rights can write through the API too, which is how partners send corrections and new projects to SKYDB. SKYDB Insights Plus adds project roles and business contacts to what your account can read. The API reference shows which fields each endpoint returns, and joining SKYDB is free.
