Who can vote in the SKYDB Awards?

Voting is open to members who have added at least 100 buildings to SKYDB.

The SKYDB Awards distinguish between the voting and nomination and phases. Voting means to vote for the best skyscraper which has previously been nominated for the given year.

Any SKYDB member may vote three buildings per award year during the voting period. The only requirement is that you must have entered at least 10 buildings which got accepted. This safeguard ensures that people demonstrate their interest in and seriousness about tall buildings. Editing existing records or uploading photographs does not count toward that total. Paid membership does not confer voting rights or increase the weight of a vote.

Each eligible member may vote for up to three different nominated buildings per award year, with one vote per building. Votes may be withdrawn or reassigned during the voting period. Once that period closes, members can no longer change their choices.

The award page provides the voting dates and available choices. Members who have not reached the voting threshold can still nominate a building.
