What is the SKYDB API?
The SKYDB API delivers building and company records as JSON, so your own software can read what the website shows.
The SKYDB API is a REST interface to the SKYDB database. It returns JSON for buildings, companies, regions, streets and photographs. A request for one building returns its name, height, floor count, status and city in one response.
Teams use it to put building data into a product of their own, such as a property platform or an internal dashboard. The API reads the same records as the website, so your system shows what an editor saved a moment ago. The API reference lists each endpoint with its parameters and an example.
Access is a paid service billed in credits. SKYDB Insights Standard and Plus include API access and a yearly credit allowance. If you only need a table, an export delivers the same records as CSV or Excel without any code.
