How often do you update information?

SKYDB updates continuously, from editors, data imports, and quality-checked agents. Freshness and coverage vary by region and building type, and every fact shows its source and date.

Continuously. SKYDB has no editions and no release cycle: changes go live within seconds. Active projects in well-covered cities tend to update quickly, because the contributors who follow them enter news as it happens.

The information comes from three directions. Editors enter and correct what they know. Bulk imports mirror official sources, for example national registers and municipal building datasets. And automated agents enrich and cross-check records at scale. All three run through the same quality rules: every write happens under an account, every value carries a source, and a well-sourced value outranks a weaker one, so an import or an agent cannot silently overwrite better information.

Updates are not evenly spread, and the database is not complete. Coverage and freshness vary by country, city, and building type: one city may be documented down to small residential buildings while another lists mainly its tall and prominent structures. A record can also carry an old value until somebody corrects it.

You can judge both for any record and any market yourself. Every fact on SKYDB carries its source and its date, the "Recent data updates" section of a building page shows the latest changes to that record, and the statistics pages show how much data exists for a region before you rely on it.
