This service description forms part of the Terms of Service only when identified in an accepted Order. The Order records the applicable version, quantities, dates, and any express variations.
SKYDB Photo
Each accepted media Order identifies the file, license scope, credit requirements, and any editorial-only or third-party restrictions. Only material for which SKYDB can grant those rights may be offered. A standard paid photo license is nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, and continuing for the permitted uses of the licensed image in finished publications or projects, subject to the Order's restrictions. It does not transfer copyright or grant a right to resell, sublicense, or provide the original file as stock.
Commercial advertising use requires any model, property, trademark, or other permission applicable to that use. SKYDB supplies only releases expressly identified in the Order. Customers must not infer a release from the ability to download an image or from a data record naming its photographer. Standard dataset restrictions do not revoke expressly purchased media reproduction rights. An image may be processed by a production contractor on the customer's behalf without granting that contractor independent use rights.
Order particulars
Every Order identifies the customer and product, incorporated document versions, price and currency, taxes, payment method, delivery or activation event, term, renewal status and period, cancellation method, permitted users, and applicable limits.
A missing material license or renewal condition must be resolved before acceptance, not inferred from a product name. These descriptions do not authorize SKYDB to charge for a new product without a new Order.
