escalator installation

A contractor that installs escalators in new buildings or as replacements or additions in existing buildings.

An escalator installation company is a contractor responsible for installing escalators in a building, either at the initial construction stage, when replacing older escalators, or when adding new escalators to an existing building.

The installation can occur during original construction or after the building is in use. Replacing old escalators and adding escalators are both within the contractor's defined activity.

An escalator manufacturer supplies the major hardware. This contractor installs that machinery, which is distinct from the work of keeping an installed escalator maintained over time.
