A bright purplish-pink facade color and subtractive primary, represented by hex triplet FF00FF.
Magenta is a bright pinkish color with a slight purplish tinge. Along with yellow and cyan it is one of the three subtractive primary colors. As a facade color it occurs rarely except as a paint color, and even then it is rare in most areas because of its attention-grabbing appearance.
