wall-mounted billboard
A large advertising sign mounted on a structure's facade or side, excluding signs that merely identify the site.
A wall-mounted billboard is a large advertising sign, usually with the capacity to replace the content easily, which is mounted onto the facade or side surface of a structure. If mounted to the structure's top, it should be classified as a roof-mounted billboard.
Billboards do not include logos, signs, or other features used to identify what is actually there on the site.
A roof-mounted billboard uses the upper surface instead of the side. The billboard advertises content beyond simply identifying the building or its occupants, which preserves the distinction from a site-identifying sign.
