decorative indoor pool
A basin of standing water inside a structure which is mainly ornamental in function.
A decorative indoor pool is an indoor pool of water or other liquid which is not part of a fountain and which is not used for swimming, water storage, boat transportation, mass damping, or other practical purposes.
Standing liquid and an ornamental purpose distinguish this pool from an indoor fountain, whose water moves regularly or continuously. The liquid need not be water.
A pool used for swimming, storage, transport, or mass damping has a practical function and is excluded even when it is visually attractive. The feature concerns a decorative basin inside a structure.
