A roughly even 7-sided floor plan.

A heptagonal building plan has a perimeter with seven sides meeting each other at convex angles. The sides do not have to be equal, and the shape can have small irregularities such as protrusions and indentations, as long as seven principal sides remain easily discernible. Because of their asymmetry and irregular geometry, heptagons are much less common as building perimeters that hexagons or octagons.
