truck parking
A place designated for trucks to park or idle, generally available to large trucks without belonging to one trucking line.
A truck parking site is a location or facility designed, reserved, or designated for parking trucks when they are idling or not in use. It is generally open to any large trucks, and differs from a truck depot which is a storage facility operated by a trucking line.
The area is generally available to large trucks from different operators. It need not be the vehicles' home base.
A truck depot generally serves a particular trucking line. That operating-base relationship distinguishes a depot from general truck parking.
