truck depot
A base for storing or parking large trucks, generally belonging to one trucking line, excluding utility and personal vehicles.
A truck depot is a place for storing or parking large trucks when they are not in operation. It does not include parking or storage facilities for utility vehicles or for personal truck-like vehicles, such as pick-up trucks or sport utility vehicles. Unlike a truck parking facility, a depot generally serves as a home or a base for a particular line of trucks.
The depot generally serves a particular line of trucks. Truck parking is generally open to large trucks without that operating-base relationship.
Utility vehicles and personal pickups or SUVs are expressly excluded. Their truck-like appearance alone does not bring their storage within this definition.
