built-in slide

A chute built into a building or structure, which people can slide down for fun or for quick descent.

A built-in slide is a chute installed in a built object which is accessible to humans for sliding down, sometimes from one floor to another below it. The purpose can be for fun (especially for children), or as a quick means of egress or descent, either for convenience or as an emergency escape.

Built-in slides are sometimes found in children's museums and places of amusement.

Slides belonging to playgrounds do not count as built-in slides unless they are somehow attached to or connected with a main structure that is not a playground.
