The first window on the surface of a structure is fixed in its designed place.
Window installation on a structure begins when the first window separating its interior from the outside is installed in its designated place. This can occur any time between shortly after commencement of frame assembly and completion of the structure.
The window must be installed in the exterior enclosure. A window stored on site or a glazed opening between two interior rooms does not establish this event.
Last window installed records the other end of exterior window installation. Neither milestone requires installation of non-window facade sections to occur at the same time.
