The last window separating a structure's interior from the outside is fixed in its designed position.
Window installation on a structure is finished when the last window separating its interior from the outside is installed in its designated place. This normally occurs either shortly before completion of frame assembly, or at any time between topping out and completion of the structure.
The endpoint concerns exterior windows. Work on glazing between interior spaces does not delay it once the last exterior window is installed.
Facade installation complete excludes windows and is a separate milestone. The last window can be installed at a different time from the last non-window section of the enclosure.
