facade scaffolding installation begins
Erection begins on a temporary support structure for workers over at least part of the facade.
Facade scaffolding installation begins when the first pipes, tubes, bamboo sticks, or other elements of scaffolding are erected over the exterior of a building or structure, mainly to support workers doing maintenance, construction, or replacement work. The scaffolding may cover all or part of the facade when finished.
This event often accompanies facade renovation, restoration, recladding, or full renovation of the structure. It also is done frequently for routine maintenance.
The first erected scaffold elements mark the start, whether the finished scaffold will cover all or only part of the facade. Installation ends when the last required elements have been erected; delivery of unassembled materials alone does not establish that endpoint.
