A visitor parking site is a location or facility where private motorized road vehicles can be left when not in use, and which is available exclusively to visitors of an associated place. In terms of access rights it lies between public parking and private parking. It may or may not require payment of a usage fee. Parking at these places is generally limited to the time of the visit.

This usage is similar to customer parking except that the expected visit is generally non-commercial in nature.

Payment may be required or waived. The visitor restriction and connection to the destination determine the use, while customer parking concerns a commercial visit.
