angled mansard

A flat central roof bounded by slopes that bend downward to become steeper toward the edges.

An angled mansard roof is a flat roof bounded around the edge by slopes, each of which folds downward in the middle to become steeper by the edge. Angled mansard roofs very often feature dormers.

The edge slopes change angle partway down. Their lower portions are steeper than the portions adjoining the flat central roof.

A curved mansard uses a convex curve at the edges. Dormers can be present in an angled mansard but are not required.
