Venues for athletic games played under defined rules between opposing teams of players.
A team sports venue is a place where teams of opposing players engage in games following defined rules.
The opposing sides compete as teams in a game. Several athletes performing together do not necessarily establish team sports when the format is an individual demonstration or relay within athletics.
A team-sports venue can accommodate practice as well as games before an audience. Spectator seating is not a necessary characteristic of the sport itself.
