A media/technology store is any retail outlet specializing in some form of recorded media or consumer technology. Goods sold in this type of store include various forms of printed and electronic media, as well as related appliances. Video rentals and game rentals are not included in this usage.
Printed material is included alongside electronic media and technology. The store need not sell electronic equipment to belong to the group.
Video and game rental are expressly excluded. Video rental has a separate service use, even when the media are similar to goods sold in these stores.
