crane manufacturer (construction)

Manufacturers of the major cranes used in the initial construction of a building.

The manufacturer makes the crane used for the building's initial construction. A crane rental company supplies access to a crane, which can have been made by a different company. A name displayed on a crane can identify either activity.

A hoist manufacturer supplies the temporary construction-elevator arrangement rather than the major crane itself. Equipment manufactured only for later maintenance, renovation, or demolition is outside this original-construction role.
