hoist manufacturer

The company which assembles the temporary mounted elevator used during construction.

A hoist supplier is a company that assembles temporary hoists (construction elevators) used to lift construction materials or site personnel during a building's construction phase. It is not necessarily the manufacturer of the parts of the hoist.

Construction hoists are often installed on the side of a building, outside of its footprint. However they can also be installed inside a structure, as long as the machinery is specific to the construction phase and is not simply a future elevator being used for construction.

The construction-phase machinery and its assembly define the role. An elevator manufacturer supplies the elevator hardware of the building in use. Temporarily carrying construction materials in that future elevator does not make it the separate construction hoist described here.
