An openable window combining opening types so the user can choose between multiple axes of movement.
Tilt-turn windows are a composite of other openable window types, which can open along multiple axes at the user's option.
The same window can open along different axes at the user's choice. One fixed axis of rotation alone does not meet that condition.
Casement and tilt describe individual hinge arrangements. Tilt-turn identifies the combined choice of opening modes.
