A nodal center for transferring cargo to and from large numbers of trucks.

A truck freight terminal is a structure which serves as a node in a cargo transportation network, where trucks load and unload cargo which is transfered from other trucks or other modes of transportation. It does not apply to loading docks at the end points (production and delivery) of cargo transit, nor does it apply to warehouses whose function is to store cargo for an extended time.
