Space used by a business to deliver services outside a customer-facing retail setting.
A service facility is building space where a business performs the operational work needed to deliver a service. It can include work areas, equipment rooms and support spaces. Record office alongside services where a distinct part of the building is used for desk-based administration.
Use retail services where customers purchase the service directly at the premises. A barber shop, travel agency or bank branch belongs there.
Use storage for holding goods and industry for producing material goods. A building is not a service facility merely because it is privately owned or non-residential.
