workshop

A workshop is a place where goods and crafts are assembled through manual labor and craftsmanship. This excludes production of fixed structures and other real estate.

Skilled manual work forms or assembles the goods. Woodworking and metalworking distinguish particular materials and operations.

The resulting work concerns goods and crafts. Construction of fixed buildings or other real estate remains outside this workshop meaning, even when skilled manual labor is involved.
