Skilled workers form wooden objects from raw or reclaimed material. The output can be ready for use or can require further work, so complete final assembly is not necessary.

A highly automated furniture factory is outside this skilled-workshop meaning. Metalworking involves a different material, while construction of fixed real estate is excluded from the broader workshop purpose.
